Understanding Sleep Data
Why are long-term sleep trends more useful than a single sleep score?
Better Sleep Starts with Better Information
A single sleep score may be easy to understand, but it does not explain why sleep was poor or whether a treatment is working. Tracking sleep duration, awakenings, oxygen levels, oxygen drop events, heart rate, and HRV provides a more complete picture of what happens during the night. Monitoring these measurements over weeks and months can reveal patterns associated with illness, stress, lifestyle changes, medications, or treatment adjustments. This information can also help patients have more useful discussions with their healthcare providers.
