Fatigue, Recovery and Performance
Why am I still tired after sleeping eight hours every night?
Why “Hours Slept” Isn’t Explaining Fatigue
Sleep duration alone does not show whether the body remained stable and recovered during the night. Repeated oxygen fluctuations and other disruptions may leave someone exhausted despite spending seven or eight hours asleep. Looking at patterns across multiple nights can help reveal how factors such as alcohol, allergies, stress, weight changes or treatment affect overnight stability.
